For once the weather has been glorious with light winds not causing problems. When the boats have got out, the fishing has been good.There are good numbers of Bass and Rays in the river still and the winter species like cod and Whiting are begining to be caught with the bigger specimens starting to show soon with a bit of luck. The winter species are now showing in greater numbers and are more varied.
So, lets hope the weather keeps fine and the fish show in numbers. Now's the time when the variety of fish means you never know what you'll catch next.
