This is an item which I haven't seen available before.
The thermometer allows the angler to see the water temperature and enables him to make a calculated decision on what fish to target and quantities of bait to use. It's something I haven't paid much attention to before, but I use mine everywhere now. I know several of the Maver Barnsley team are using them, and to great effect on venues like Hallcroft. The SF Line is for coarse and match fishing while TopLine is for Carp and Sea fishing. The TopLine is available in the 0.15mm - 0.40mm in 1000m spools, in the clear and grey.
S F Line is available in 0.08mm - 0.50mm in the 100, 200 and 400m spools in brown or green, and retails at around £2.99 for the 100m, £3.99 for the 200m and £4.99 for the 400m.
It's one of many hi-tec lines on the market and seems to be strong and abrasion resistant. Although it is aimed at the carp angler, I know many local sea anglers who use the Topline in the stronger breaking strain.
