Sea Report

In the boats, there has been a few boats that have ventured out, but as the Red weed is back, you either struggle or bag an odd fish. There have been odd cod about, but not in any numbers. The weather wont help this week with strong winds forcast.

On the Yorkshire Coast the fishing has been better with cod to low doubles and flatfish showing. The top bait was worm and squid or crab also took account for a good number of fish, especially bass.Please remember there is a big match this weekend around Bridlington.
Mark at A&D Angling (01482 227171 closed Wednesdays and Sundays) and now A&D Hedon which was Hedon Bait and Tackle (01482 891479 open all week) is always up to speed on the information stakes.
The south of the Humber the fishing has been poor, with only small fish being caught in most areas. Cod to just over 3lb being caught, but only odd ones. Immingham had seen odd cod and whiting caught in the deeper water. Humberstone Creek has fished better with a few fish being caught around the pound mark and odd specimens to 2lb.
On the Lincolnshire coast there have been odd fish about. Whiting and Dabs are the main target now and lug tipped squid is scoring well. 
The best bet for consistently good bait is Mark at A&D Hedon formerly Hedon Angling Centre(01482 891479) and still has an excellent range of sea bait and mention you saw it here.
